Zesty "Wing-A-Ding" Chicken Wings (9/23/2011)

Zesty Wing-a-ding Chicken Wings

1 cup Zesty Italian Dressing
3/4 cup Soy sauce
2 cloves garlic, minced
½ tsp. red pepper flakes
4 lbs. Chicken wings, cut apart at the joints, tips removed

½ cup butter
2 teaspoons Soy sauce
½ cup Hot Sauce (Crystal, Frank's Red hot, etc.)

Combine Zesty Italian dressing, Soy sauce, minced garlic, red pepper flakes, and chicken wings in a large zip-lock bag or large bowl. Turn to coat and either seal bag or cover bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate at least 4 hours or overnight. Turn or stir wings every couple of hours or so.

Preheat oven to 400-degrees. Spread wings out on a foil line baking pan (spray foil with cooking spray to prevent sticking). Place in oven for 25 minutes. Remove and turn wings, return to oven and continue cooking another 20-25 minutes, or until wings are fully cooked.

For sauce:
In a medium sauce pan, over medium heat, add and melt butter. Stir in Soy sauce and hot sauce. Remove from heat and set aside.

Place baked wings in a large bowl and pour wing sauce over all; turn to coat. Serve with celery sticks and Blue Cheese dressing.
