Hamburger Vegetable beef soup (6/30/2006)

Michael Kaye's Hamburger Vegetable beef soup

1 lb. Ground beef (browned and crumbled..salt & pepper to taste)
1 large Onion (chopped)
1 clove garlic (minced)
1 15 oz. Cans diced tomatoes (with liquid)
2 or 3 potatoes (peeled and diced)
2 or 3 carrots (sliced)
1 Cup chopped celery (about 3 stalks)
1 Large can V-8 vegetable juice
1 or 2 cups water (depending on how thick you like your soup)
small bag frozen mixed vegetables
3 or 4 beef bouillon cubes
Salt & Pepper to taste

Brown and crumble ground beef with onion and garlic. Drain. Add to crock pot.
Add remaining ingredients. Cover. Cook on low 8-10 hours or high 4-6 hours.

Serves 4-6
