Mike's Baked Hot Wings with Budweiser Blue Cheese Dressing (1/30/2009)

Mike's Baked Hot Wings with Budweiser Blue Cheese Dressing

For the wings:

1/3 cup Crystal Hot Sauce
1/3 cup Honey
1/3 cup butter, melted
4 tsp. Chili powder
1 ½ tsp. Cayenne pepper
1 tsp. salt
6 lbs. Chicken Wings (I used two 3 lb. Bags of Our Family Frozen wings, thawed)
Gallon size Ziplock bags from marinating

Mix first 6 ingredients in a large bowl. Add chicken wings and turn to coat. Transfer to ziplock bags and seal. Refrigerate, turning occasionally, for at least 3 hours, or overnight.

Heat oven to 350-degrees and line a baking sheet with heavy duty aluminum foil. Add chicken wings in single layer. Bake 40 minutes. Turn. You may have to drain some of the grease from the pan. Bake another 40 minutes or until chicken turns crispy. Serve with Budweiser Blue cheese dressing.
