Michael Kaye

KDTH Morning Show Host / Program Director

Michael Kaye is host of the KDTH Early Morning show 5-10am weekdays and KDTH Program director. Michael has been a "Dubuquer" since 1970 and is a Dubuque Senior High School graduate. He's been in broadcasting for over 26 years. He began his radio career in 1979 at KDTH, and after other "gigs" around town, came back to KDTH in 1988, where he now hosts one of the most listened to morning shows. Michael is also responsible for putting together the soundtrack for the annual KDTH/Dubuque Jaycees fireworks display over the river every July 3 rd. Michael is an avid weather buff and keeps Tri-State state residents informed about our wide range of weather conditions, including severe weather. He's also a huge Iowa Hawkeye fan as well as a Chicago Cub fan and Chicago Bear fan. He enjoys all types of music, his favorite movie star is John Wayne and his favorite food is - steak! Michael plans on waking up the Tri-States for a long time to come.

Tom Hamilton

KDTH Good Neighbor Show Host (weekdays 11-5)

Born in Red Oak, Iowa and raised in Clinton, Iowa. Attended Clinton High, William Penn College in Oskaloosa, Iowa and the Univ. of Iowa. Been in radio since 1969. Moved around quite a lot. Chicago, Miami, Denver, San Francisco. Returned to Dubuque in 2005 after 20 years in Chicago. Missed home too much.

Favorite music: KDTH songs, and Jazz. Love old black and white TV shows, SciFi, Fantasy and Action movies.
Favorite Food: Love Iowa corn-fed beef and never met a bakery I didn't like.
Heroes: No heroes per se, but I admire the work of Gary Dolphin. Been around and heard a lot of them and he's tops.
Favorite Past-Time: Love the Hawkeyes!!! Yard work (gosh I'm boring)
Dreams: Hope to have a SeaDoo...(can anybody help me out)
Tom's daughter, Eliza, is currently attending U of Iowa.
What my tombstone will say... "I think a mistake has been made."

Tim Lary

KDTH Sports Director

Tim Lary covers the Tri-States sports scene for AM 1370 KDTH.

Tim is the play-by-play voice for Dubuque High School sports and weekday sportscasts on KDTH.Tim has been honored by the Iowa Associated Press and Iowa Broadcast News Association for sports broadcasting excellence including several top awards for his play-by-play work from the broadcast booth.

Outside of work, Tim enjoys spending time with family, Bible study, running, following his favorite sports teams and doing a little fishing.

Jesse Gavin

KDTH News Director

Jesse Gavin is KDTH's News Director. He anchors morning and noon newscasts each weekday. Jesse is a native of the Tri-States, growing up in Cascade. His first job in radio came while he was still in high school, and he?s been ?on the air? ever since. Jesse has an extensive background of covering news across the state of Iowa, with past stops in places like Mason City, Pella, and Cedar Falls. His work has been recognized with numerous awards, including three First Place honors for Excellence in Anchoring from the Iowa Broadcast News Association. Jesse is a proud alumnus of Wartburg College in Waverly, and also cheers for the Chicago Cubs, Iowa Hawkeyes, and Tennessee Titans. He has won a couple of chili cook-offs with his famous ?Triple Pork Chili? and he likes to think he's pretty handy around a grill. When he?s not reading the news, Jesse is usually watching sports, listening to live music, or bragging about his nephew, Rowan, who lives in the Twin Cities.

Ed Anderson

For 25 years, Ed Anderson has dedicated himself to broadcast news and information. When it comes to experience, Ed has done it all. From his first stint at KBBG in Waterloo where he covered all the bases as a news reporter, sportscaster and disc jockey to his time behind the mic and in front of the camera on Waterloo Cablevision calling sports play by play to his days as assignment editor, newsman and farm director at KXEL. Besides covering the afternoon news and financial reports, Ed is fast making his name on the local comedy circuit, with a snappy and innovated stand up act. You can see him at a casino or dinner club near you!
